As a business, we take responsibility for our actions and want to make an impact where it counts, no matter how big or small, so that we can play our part in making the world better for future generations.
From supporting charities that are close to our hearts in our communities, working with property partners who offer environmentally-conscious serviced accommodation, and continually working towards reducing our carbon footprint as a team and a business – we are determined to make a positive difference.
We support a number of local charities through donations, fundraising or volunteering. We want to make a meaningful difference to people’s lives in our communities and give back where we can to help those who need it most.
We’ve joined walks to raise funds for Guide Dogs, a charity that breeds and raises life-changing guide dogs to support people with sight loss.
We’ve donated unused computers and computer equipment from our office to The Baytree Centre in Brixton, an educational charity for women and girls in London, to help them provide vital digital resources for quality education and learning programs as well as English classes.
This is one of our nominated local charities in London – it supports people that are on low income, homeless and/or vulnerable to mental health issues.
This is one of our nominated industry charities – it offers vital assistance to all who work, or have worked within hospitality in the UK and suffering from physical illness or mental health issues to financial difficulty, family problems to addiction helping them get back on their feet.
Our portfolio brings together a curated collection of local property operators and international hospitality companies that have been vetted by our specialists and meet the high standards our client expect.
Across the board, our property partners are taking great efforts to reduce their impact on the environment and operate as sustainably as possible, from using renewable energy or energy saving features throughout the accommodation, offering digital manuals and instead of paper copies, sourcing from eco-friendly suppliers, implementing better water conservation, removing single-use plastic and improving waste management and recycling on-site or contributing to the development of the local communities – every action makes a difference.
Many of our property partners have achieved sustainable accreditations such as BREEAM, BCorp, Greengage, Green Tourism and more.
We are in the business of making people feel at home, but we also acknowledge that the world we call home is in a critical state and needs to be preserved and protected for future generations.
We work in an energy efficient modern office building that has achieved BREEAM for Offices 2011 “Excellent” rating EPC “B” rating with VRF air conditioning system with heat recovery, motion sensor lights and dedicated recycling bins.
We rarely print anything on paper and have digitialised all our record keeping. We are committed to reducing unnecessary consumption, thereby minimising our impact on the local environment and global climate change as much as possible.
Most of our team walk, cycle or use public transportation to work or to property viewings and events as much as we can. Our company vehicles are all fully electric.
Where possible we aim to source products that are made from sustainable materials or locally manufactured.
